Title: Re: WIPER LINKAGE ARMS!!!! Post by harry.m1byt on Jan 16th, 2007, 6:35pm A couple of small tiewraps crossed over the top of the plastic bush works as a temporary fix for a while. Longer term you need to replace the worn arm complete with bush and perhaps even what ever the ball is attached to. If the latter is corroded, the new bush will not last long. |

Title: Re: WIPER LINKAGE ARMS!!!! Post by Baz on Jan 16th, 2007, 8:48pm If you go into a Ford Dealer and tell them you have a 94-98 Scorpio, they will tell you that you have to buy the whole linkage system because it didn't come as seperate parts. I however you tell him you have a Granada, the parts are available as seperate items and you can just buy the bit you need and all the parts of the wiper linkage on our cars are the same as the older Granadas.... Title: Re: WIPER LINKAGE ARMS!!!! Post by cscars1 on Jan 17th, 2007, 11:42pm i found the easiest way was to drill throught the centre of the ball and socket with a small drill bit and put a split pin through works for years |
