Title: Re: starting when warm Post by tintin on Jan 28th, 2007, 12:24pm sounds like it might be the fuel pressure rail valve, see here : http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=Problems;action=display;num=1163134618 worth getting a scan done to see what error codes come up hope this helps, |

Title: Re: starting when warm Post by Mike_Floutier on Jan 28th, 2007, 5:13pm I had this too with that relay; it'd start ok then cut out at random. I changed it and it was fine; cheapest fix ever. Hope it's as simple as that. Mike |

Title: Re: starting when warm Post by mr._floppy on Jan 28th, 2007, 5:44pm Is there clouds of blue smoke from the exhaust when you cold start it ? Bad hot starting is a sure sign of a worn engine/ poor compression. |
