Title: Re: Cooling Fans Post by Simmo on Jan 29th, 2007, 7:46pm Hi Ray and Sylvia. You missed a good meet on Sunday!. Try reading THIS (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/coolfans.htm). The other thing is to check the state of the wiring which runs under the front cross member(where the bonnet catch is) as this can sometimes be a cause of problems. ;) |

Title: Re: Cooling Fans Post by pistonbroke on Jan 29th, 2007, 9:28pm Non-working fans on my 24v turned out to be a low pressure problem. There wasn't any gas left in the a/c :-/. If that's the case though, the fans should kick in on full when the engine gets hot enough (like mine did, they just never ran on low). Might be worth getting a pressure test from your local friendly mobile a/c man. Dave |
