Title: Re: engine will not start Post by Jim on Feb 23rd, 2007, 6:18pm Fuse 18 is headlamp so it shouldn't affect starting even if it is blown. If its 17 thats your electronics much more difficult. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/images/central_fusebox.gif |

Title: Re: engine will not start Post by TiberiuS on Feb 23rd, 2007, 7:36pm Blimey, I'm confused now :D The 2.9 12v is your son's, you own a 2.3 16v - right? ::) If it's the 2.3, do you mean ignition loom or fuel cut-off loom which goes to the cylinder head? Why the new fusebox - what problems was it for? You need to get a ammeter on there in place of the blowing fuse and trace where the short is coming from. Regards, Bruce :) |
