Hi all, still got a problem, car idling perfect, that is until its in a gear (autobox), mechanic had a look but said he couldnt find anything, the car also lacks power after its been sat in traffic for a few minutes, its stiil acting as if its not firing on all pots or or flooding, i also noticed that even when its idling nicely the revs stay perfect but you can here a slight change in engin noise every few seconds, when this happens a slight pop can also be heard from the exaust, any ideas

sounds like fpr overfuelling, which has led to a blocked cat to me.....

sorry but what does fpr mean lol, not good with short terms ha ha

hi there

fpr = fuel pressure regulator.

also check the lambda sensors. you can check them with a meter set to 1volt.
