Try spraying silicone in the channels. It's probably 'hanging' in the rubbers.

This would suggest a switch problem. If you need to press it that much I reckon the contacts in the switch are shot. The contacts are probably oxidised or worn out. Only answer is a replacement switch.

Try swapping it with a switch that works well to diagnose a dodgy one.

If it's just one window, then also consider checking the motor for that window.  ;)

Yes, I understand you, but if the back window is causing a problem then you have only 4 ways to go. It's either a wiring or power problem, in which case I'm sure fuses would be going. Or the motor, which you say is fine. Or the window physically jamming somewhere (which you say it's not) so why not swap a back switch with one of the front (working) switches, to see if the rear switches have possibly been damaged in the past by overloading.

If the window is free to move, and the motor is OK, then power supply is the obvious answer. Are you sure that the brushes in the window motor are OK, and is it earthed well? Also check the plug to the motor for moisture or corroded pins which could be causing a poor connection.  ;)

Chaps, are there relays to the Scorp's window motors?

Sounds like a relay issue to me, all depends whether voltage is getting to the motor assy itself. Might also be worth checking the multiplug going to that door from the post is seated properly, I had a problem with one of the locks on mine and it was down to the plug on the passenger door not being seated quite right ;)

Good luck.

Regards, Bruce.
