Hi Guys

I have good working 2.3 steering rack.
Will it fit on my leaking cossie?
on my cossie im losing fluid and its coming out of the gaitors

whats my best option

i read the cossie has special speed sensitive steering
is this true?

yes, it will fit, but it is the wrong type. you do need the speed sensitive one.

No, it will fit but you just lose the speed sensitive function.

thanks highlander. drat i like to keep her total and original so ill have to do something. any idea how biga job it is? im pretty good mechanically can swap rads pumps etc. wonder if i coulod fit the 2.3 rack for now whilst i get the speed one overhauled.
