my 1996 has had a water leak for some time but today when i kicked down in it the water from the rad come though the grill and on to the front screen ..
i then drove it home for 20 miles and it did get a bit hot but did not overheat any advice

Uhm.. Replace the rad? ::)

Not quite sure what you mean :-/

Did the water spray out from the rad, through the front grill, come over the bonnet & hit the screen at speed....or did it come through the air vent grill directly in front of the screen ? :)

Mine did exactly the same.
The top of the rad has blown and opened up a hole.
It was handy for washing the screen though!!!!LOL

Yeah, new rad needed i am afraid.

to jonnycab it came though the grill on to the screen looks like a new rad
