I would normally say 'check fuse 14' http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/images/handbook130.gif, but that fuse should cut the tail lights and brake lights as well.

Anyway, checking the fuses can't hurt (unless it's pouring down outside and you catch a cold while checking)

The problem could be in relay 29 http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/images/handbook134.gif as that supposedly controls all indicators. Or it could be a loom problem. Or the stalk. Or something else.

Hi. A member had this issue a couple of months back, it was caused by faulty tow bar wiring. Other than that, check the indicator relay, as I remember there's only the one for both sides so if it dies you lose them all.

Hope this helps :)

Regards, Bruce.

EDIT: Flasher? do you mean hazards or headlamp flash?

when i said flasher, it was some one had said that your main beams flash of the headlights as it is on the same switch on the column, so can i rule out the swich or not, it appears that the other lights work off the same fuse.
is it worth changing the fuse any way.

i have no tow bar.

i just tried my hazard warning lights the light comes on, on the steering wheel and stays on but the lights outside are not flashing. so now i have another problem are they related?

may i just say how good i have found this site.

thank you all for your help.

thanks tony
