Title: Removing steering wheel
Post by dbrotzen on Aug 17th, 2007, 10:28pm
This may seem obvious to some, but what are the steps for removing the steering wheel? I assume first unscrew the steering column cover, then unscrew the 4 steering wheel screws from the rear. Correct? Any pics somewhere? I've searched the site.

Thanks

Try this page but the first thing to do is disconnect the battery and leave for half an hour before attempting to do the job, or the air bag can go off.... :-/

No problem, here is the link to the steering manual

http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/steermanual.htm

That should cover the rest of the procedure.

Airbags:

If you look throught the indexes you can find the different manuals for the different sections.
