Title: Re: rear suspension compressor Post by 24v96wagon on Sep 1st, 2007, 1:06pm Thanks for the reply. I might have used the wrong name, so you are probably right. The rear shocks have an air bellow, the rear axle is connected to a switch controlling the height. Left front, behind the fender and directly under the headlamp is the compressor, which does not run. Is there any info on this compressor? Can it be fixed? Is there an electical diagram? Hen. |

Title: Re: rear suspension compressor Post by scorpio_man on Sep 1st, 2007, 2:09pm hi there no, you are correct. i've just never came across a scorpio with the 'older' system. this might help..... http://www.carsoft.ru/avtorepair/sierra/selfsusp.pdf not sure how it all works, but you might be able to feed 12 volts straight to the pump and see i it still works. :-/ hth |

Title: Re: rear suspension compressor Post by sector-9 on Sep 2nd, 2007, 8:10pm Disconnect the link connecting the rear axle to the switch and manually rotate the arm on it. Should start the compressor or open the release solenoid, depending on which way you rotate it. Also check the switch is getting power to it. Darren |
