Title: power steering fluid leaking Post by lucydog on Sep 17th, 2007, 7:43pm hi, my scorpio has lost all its power steering fluid all over the driveway, i have filled the resevoir back up and it lasted a week until it suddenly lost its fluid over the driveway again ...? any ideas.. :( |

Title: Re: power steering fluid leaking Post by Highlander on Sep 17th, 2007, 8:25pm really you need to have a look underneath to make sure, although Solarpanels theory would seem the most probable given that the fluid just empties in one go rather than a steady drip. Check the fluid cooler below the radiator and the pipework, especially the bit just below the fluid reservoir where the jubilee clip is fixed. |

Really the best solution is to find it and fix it, even if its a new rack its not going to be a huge expense (unless you get one from FMD) ;) |
