It says for Sierra, but it is actually for the Scorpio  ;)

Hope this helps & welcome to the site  :)

hi there

just to confirm, this is a scorpio from '95-'98?

re noise. there isn't any noise. the only sounds you should get are..... 1, the doors locking.... 2, the double locking if you activate it and 3, the alarm horn.

I dont consider it a pointless question to ask which model of car you have to clarify things, especially when we discover it is a Granada.

If i may draw your attention the the VERY FIRST LINE on the Homepage of this site.....

"This web site exists to assist owners and potential owners in looking after their Ford Scorpio. It caters purely for the 1995 and later Ford Scorpio in all it's variants but NOT the earlier Ford Granada Scorpio."

I know there are a few similarities between the two and although we will always try to help out when we can there are not so many people on the site with the same knowledge of the Granada as there is of the Scorpio

You may have better luck at a site that caters for your car specifically.

To be honest it could be lots of things by the sound of it especially with all the modifications it has had, we would be guessing wildly.
I suppose i would just start at the beginning again, check the battery,  connections, fuses, wiring etc
all Ford will do is use a contracted in auto electrician, I would just take it direct to an auto electrician they will be able to fast track the non starting problem for you
