???hi guys i have a 1998 24v ultima estate , recently had a water hose go ,the one that runs through the side of the right hand cylinder head.
would anyone happen to know the part number form ford for this pipe as i am having a nightmare trying to get one !!! >:( thanks for your time guys

hi bud the code that ford have given me is 7334646 so slightly different will see, but this has helped alot cheers again!! ;D

have just (today) fitted that hose on my 24v cossie and had to order from ford £13.92 including vat. Had to wait 5 working day as none in this country (from germany) but in fitted fine and it had the f7334646 number on it!!!!

you have fitted yours? ive only just got the inlet plenums off what a mission, how did you find it ?
and did you have to take the aircon pump off??
im dreading the rest of the job !!

yes air con needs to come off, mine is already off as ive done away with it. i didnt take inlets off, just centre bits. all air filter parts, front mid section of plenum plastic inlet housing and throttle body. i unpugged injectors, undid fuel rails and lifted out (giggle them and take out together)but left pipes in situe this alowed me to get to water hose to get it off but this whole union had to come off to get it the new hose on and one of the bolts was a pig so i undid the water rail that travels along v and has 1 bolt in middle and 1 at back of engine then just pulls out. Im not to good at explaining in type but hope this helps if you need more send your number via private message and i can phone tomorrow if you want.

best of luck it was a b****r and my engine and alarm now dont work so cant start the dam thing!!!!!!!

gawwwd !!! this job is a nightmare been trying to got the hose fitted but it just wont have it, help!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANNA WAKE UP TOMORROW AND SEE IT REPAIRED ALL BY ITSELF!! :(

You defo have the right hose i.e. diameter etc?

my mate has just gone i needed two pairs of hands but finally got it on !!!!! hooorayy just gotta put the rest together now thank god !! :D cheers guys will let you know if it runs when its finished!!! ;D

kyanther you say your engine wont start you havent knocked the cam sensor wire off from underneath the water hose ?? just a thought!! ;D
