Hi folks.
No dip beam. It is not fuses, relay or switch so guess it must be main fuse box.
However, I can't see any fixings except a few small clips round the outside which look as though they probably hold the box together.
How does it come out please? ???

Alternatively, couldnt I run a separate feed from the back of the switch through a line fuse?
Can you get an in-line relay socket?

Any suggestions welcome including which colour leads to break into.

The main fuse box is held in by four bolts which have nuts on the underside and are accessed.....thats a joke..... from underneath by laying on your back in the drivers footwell with your head amongst the pedals!!. Before you go down that route check the main terminal block behind the headlight switch which can reveal a 'burnt' pin which will cause such problems. Secondly, if you've had the main connector disconnected from the box make sure it is fitted back correctly. There are two lugs which MUST have the pins from the clip properly located beore it is pressed home. There is a saying here that 'if it goes on first time it 'aint right' !!. This will also give 'strange' problems as it will go in 'one row out' but appear externally to be fitted correctly. ;)

Have already checked behind rotary switch and it looks fine.
HOWEVER - due to a senior moment, what I have not checked is the steering column switch! Doh!! :-[
I do not propose to take out the fusebox for such a minor problem.
How do I bypass it if the stalk switch turns out to be OK?
