Title: Airbag warning light
Post by merseyscorp on Oct 21st, 2007, 1:23am
My Scorpio has kindly reminded me that there is a 'pyrotechnic seatbelt pre-tensioner' failure (either side).
I haven't got around to checking the fuse yet, but apart from this, does anbody know what other corrective action can be taken to rectify this?

Many thanks

Try checking the connectors under the seat as sometimes rear seat passengers feet can disturb the cabling and connectors. THIS (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/seatbeltmanl.htm) may help.

Thanks simmo,
On wednesday my friend in the passenger seat dropped his phone down the side of the seat & was difficult to release. Now that you mention it we could have disurbed something whilst trying to retrieve it or maybe the fact that he did also sit in the back & is 6ft 6!!!
