I have a 98 2.3 16v Scorpio, any tips on changing the thermostat would be appreciated, thanks.

The details are HERE (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/cooling/ThermoDOHC.pdf).I guess it would be a good idea to soak the studs with WD40 before attempting removal and then proceed with caution!. :) THIS thread (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=Problems;action=display;num=1192735333;start=4#4) may also help.

remember it's a plastic manifold/housing. be gentle with it.
