Title: Re: Rusty Back Arches Post by Tons_of_fun on Nov 1st, 2007, 1:41pm Hi m8.The chrome arches you have mentioned are for a mk3 granada. They will fit your arches but (imo) look a little odd with the chrome finish,& are a little short (dont extend to the sills). However i fitted a set of s/h ones to a friends ghia, but because the chrome finish was quite dull (been in the corner of a mouldy garage for years ;D),i flatted the surface back & painted them body colour. When fitted they looked like "flared" arches.A nice sporty touch i think ;D |

Title: Re: Rusty Back Arches Post by mr._floppy on Nov 1st, 2007, 2:39pm ( S/H ) Second Hand 8) Bubbly wheel arches are common on these cars, something to do with the plastic bumper I'm told. If you're a budding Henry Moore or Rodin ( that's Sculptors to you uncouth lot ) you can de-rust the arch and fill with Cataloy or some such filler and re-paint. |
