Title: Re: Bad attack of the TIN WORM eating my Scorpio Post by pappa on Dec 7th, 2007, 6:49am Yikes, looks pretty sickening. But it also looks good to me! (In a weird way) Being a fin, we usually have at least 2 millimeters of wet sand which about hides all the rust under it. ;D Seriously, what I would do is I would take to the someone who has a sanding machine, (sorry, don't know it's English name) the one that blows sand with pressurized air and peel all paint, rust and stuff out. Then I'd put a zinc paint on it, let it dry and then paint it. In addition if you were in Finland I might consider putting a rustprotection compound on top of everything. |
