Title: Cold Heater Post by eaglestrike on Dec 11th, 2007, 8:06pm Hi I have cool air blowing into my cabin, I have a scorpio cosworth. I checked the codes that are logged and 57 was showing, since this I have cleaned out the heater matrix and bought a second hand HBC. After this it was a little better but still not right, I have just had a trip down the motorway and only cool air came through. I have just checked the logged codes again and again I have 57 showing. Has anyone got any ideas?? Many Thanks ??? |

Title: Re: Cold Heater Post by Strmda on Jan 2nd, 2008, 4:05pm I have the same problem. Btw do you know what are the codes 57 and 58? |

Title: Re: Cold Heater Post by jonnycab on Jan 2nd, 2008, 4:39pm A 57 code would indicate a fault with the HBC (heater blower control) & a 58 code indicates a low battery voltage :) http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/ccreset.htm P.S....a 5 is the same as 0, i.e..57 is the same as 07 ;) |

Title: Re: Cold Heater Post by Snoopy on Jan 2nd, 2008, 4:55pm The codes you refer to are HERE (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/ccreset.htm) 57 and 58 can be read as 07 or 08 AFAIK |
