Title: Re: rear diff?? Post by pappa on Dec 28th, 2007, 8:48am Mmmm... Granny.... ;D To my opinion the limited slip diff is better than TCS, but having said that, TCS is an early version of ESP and gives the wifey (or should I say: GAVE, when it was operational) better control when the roads are slippery. It worked actually quite well. But yes Granada 24V and if I remember correctly, all versions of Granada with the autobox or 4x4 had the limited slip diff. I've been pushing my tail to the other lane a few times during the winter with my 24V Granny. Care must be taken when you put your foot on the pedal. So maybe that's why they came up with the TCS, it's not bad at all. If I wasn't married already, I would marry my 24V Granada. It must be the most fun car I've ever had. Including a boring -99 Audi A6 2.5 Tdi tiptronic which costed approximately 80.000 euros in Finland back in the 1999. (fortunately it was not mine, I just drove 70.000km with it for my work) Granny rules. ;D http://www.frogrider.net/paint_project.htm |
