This is my first post so i hope that it's ok. so down to business HELP HELP HELP where can i get a new water pump. I have read some of the posts and feel less than confident at getting one, Are there really places that recon them? if so where. My car is in really good condition can't afford to scrap for a water pump. is there a water pump that can be used with mods to the pipes? Help :-/

Ford dealer is your only option for a new pump, otherwise have a look around scrappies for a good used one if you need for one at low cost.

A dealer should not have trouble getting one in for you.

Good news I have just ordered a new water pump from a Web site I saw on the Home Page. Water pump Gasket and postage £119.53 from https://www.fordpartsuk.com/payment.htm not bad on a Sunday. :)

Good luck with finding a new pump. FMD have told me waterpumps for 1995+ 24v cars are discontinued products and will no longer be supplied...

I have the same problem, a perfectly good car sat in my driveway for want of a new waterpump...

Hiya, If you want any help or pics of the job -got some ~ I changed my pump recently. Mine cost a similar price from a Ford dealer.
