Title: Re: Alarm red light never goes out Post by sector-9 on Jan 28th, 2008, 12:35am If you've got a diesel then check the inertia cut out switch in the boot - if this has tripped then the LED will stay on and double-locking (where fitted) won't work. However, unlike a petrol engine, it will still start and run... Darren |

Title: Re: Alarm red light never goes out Post by mr._floppy on Jan 28th, 2008, 2:24pm Yes, I have a similar situation. It only happens after driving in the wet, after a few dry days the PATS light behaves as it should. I'm happy just to put up with it, I don't believe in courting disaster by rummaging through the Scorpio's horrendously complicated wiring system and causing even more problems. ;) |

Title: Re: Alarm red light never goes out Post by sector-9 on Jan 31st, 2008, 12:14pm The CCM is behind the glovebox and below the cable entry grommet through the bulkhead (where the aux. fusebox is) - check this isn't getting wet as the ECM is there too and it's not unknown for this area to leak!
