hi all
still have a few niggles with my wiring loom
(cosworth 2.9 24v)
however i have to the best of my ability replaced the wiring to the ect sensor it still does need a new plug though as the guides have split off
my problem is the fans do not seem to cut in they work perfectly if you short them out via the relay which i have replaced
i have also replaced the ect sensor and the temp guage sensor
this afternoon i had the car idling for 40 minutes the temp guage gradually rose to halfway where it stayed for the remainder of the 40 minutes
when i interogated the engine temp etc via the dash it was showing 79 for engine temp
but it threw up the code 5-c for loc1
any help would be welcome as i would like to have the car on the road to waste some petrol whilst its 129 a litre lol

I think the code is SC see HERE (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/instreset.htm)for explanantion .

The temperature os logramithic so 255 is cold and 0 is boiling ....
