Sometime before i write some problem, today i look and i find at all Ice-Detec cable is proke... only copper left so i make new wire to there and now AC workin and make cold but when i put electric on, displey come 88 to 2s and them both dispplay look only "--" what meen at system is off...
When i reset system all work nice before i put power off...

If i push left button what choice where air come inside or use old air..(sorry my english) them its make same and only "--" show both display...
Manual system works normal and only "auto" mode make this...

What is Ford part code to outsidetemp sensor? I need new one.

Car is Ford Scorpio Cosworth 1995(12/95) stw whit Auto A/C

Hi.

So, you replaced a damaged wire but now the climate control won't turn on?

Have you tried resetting it (details on the site somewhere)?

Is the ribbon cable securely attached to the rear of the control unit on the dash? Sometimes this can cuse strange faults if it becomes loose.

Yes, i cut bad cable and put new there, before AC not work but its working now but when i put i to "auto" mode its come only "--" to both display but after Reset its works normal, Manual works whithou problem.

Reset information i find this page... Now i have no link to there but moderator or similar can show it to you =)

But its easy, push both button(Left and A/C) about 10s when electric is on and A/C is OFF.
After 10s system start make itself test and show number in right display, 00 = no error

Maybe i have some wire problem somewhere left... need look if find because i want at "Auto" mode works too.

Anyone know Ford Part code to Outside Sensor?

After you got "00 = no error" did you then press both buttons until 00 flashed on/off, then wait until it returned to --

When you want go back to normal, push buttons again 10s and system start work, sametiem its reset fault memory.

I need check more cable... maybe some is broke and all is not ready yet... system works 90% now.
