my scorpio 2.5 tdi  engine oil  light on the dash  is on all the time . yet  there is oil in the engine upto the 2nd notch on the dipstick. yet it stays on   where is the oil  level sensor or switch  located on the engine   anyone help with  this.

also  what stand alone radio cd player would fit in my scorpio. its a 1995 on a m plate

Usually the pressure switch ain't far from the oil pump/filter so look in that area.  From memory it's screwed into the block parallel to the oil feed pipe for the top end or turbo.

If you have the single DIN sized radio (i.e. the one with an oddments tray below it), then any standard off-the-shelf radio should fit, though you will need to buy an adaptor to convert the Ford specific loom to ISO (or butcher the loom if you'll never refit the original radio).  If it's a double-DIN unit as fitted to later models then you'd need to buy a fascia adaptor from Halfords, or retrofit the one on early models.

the hole in the fascia is double dinso what model of stand alone radio cd player would fit  ie 5000,6000 ect
