Title: Re: FINALLY GOT IT TO START BUT!!!!!!! Post by Highlander on Jun 12th, 2008, 8:40pm I dont think reving it at 6000 from a cold start is advisable :-/ You've not got a broken cam chain by any chance? |

Title: Re: FINALLY GOT IT TO START BUT!!!!!!! Post by meatman on Jun 12th, 2008, 9:20pm hi highlander thanks for the reply it was running great till the wiring gremlins got to grips with it so dont think it will be the camchain i did replace the loom from the transmission through to the engine with what i thought was a good replacement how wrong can you be when i stripped it back today the cause of all my problems looks like the crank sensor wiring, bare wire most of the way up just as a precaution though how would i check if the chain has gone i have the manifolds off at the moment would i just have to remove the cam covers to see if that is the problem regards mark |

Title: Re: FINALLY GOT IT TO START BUT!!!!!!! Post by gozz on Jun 12th, 2008, 10:54pm meatman. If you look at the 24v engine wiring loom on the site, the colours for the injector wires and the pin numbers in the main connector are there.Unlike the 12v which fires each complete bank alternately, the 24v fires each injector individually via the ECU,rather like a diesel.
