Hi I need a new dif for a 2.5 tdi second hand or recon
And if pos the racio for the said item my one is broken we are taking it off now any suggestions and advice will be appreciated

Hi Smiler,

I have a 2.3 diff. in my garage, courtesy of Highlander, I don't know if that would be any use, though I think the ratios (see - http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/rearaxle/RAxleSpecs.pdf) are quiite different.

Hi just got one off a dismantlers in nottingham and it looks good its going on now thanks for the offer but 2.5 it would't ift its an estate and the racio is 3.36 I asked fford line and its on the page on the iste just don't make it clear thats its tdi thank you for the offer

No probs, I've found Nottingham Ford Dismantlers to be brilliant, I got my Radiator from them on Tuesday. Ordered it Monday, arrived Tuesday.

It would fit, you'd just be a little quicker on the take off and not get quite so good mpg ;)
the 24v and Diesel have larger drive pinions (the bits where the driveshafts bolt onto) but these are interchangeable with the smaller version.

The saloon and estate diffs are the same.
there are two different types of mounting brackets on the back plates but the plates are interchangeable.
