Title: 7000 Radio-Blank Display after battery replaced Post by KeithCEng on Nov 8th, 2008, 8:26pm Finally got fed-up replacing Halfords batteries in my Cossie (even if they were under guarantee) - Have now fitted an Unipart battery, which seems OK- however, when I turned the Radio on, I just get an illuminated "Blank" display (it doesn't show 'CODE' or anything else -zilch!) - Removal and replacement of the Security Panel makes no difference. Does anyone have any suggestions? Cheers KeithCEng |

Title: Re: 7000 Radio-Blank Display after battery replace Post by KeithCEng on Nov 9th, 2008, 11:08am When I started the Cossie this morning (after replacing the Battery yesterday), the 7000 Radio display started working again! I inputted the code and it is now AOK again - obviously an overnight rest helped it to recover! :) Many thanks to all who replied KeithCEng |
