Title: Re: diff problem 24v Post by scorpio_man on Dec 3rd, 2008, 1:37pm hi there there was/is, afair, a small difference in where 'older' diffs bolts on to. highlander might remember more about it. BTW, NO scorpio has a LSD diff. best remind your garage that they're working on a scorpio, not a Granada! ;) hth |

Title: Re: diff problem 24v Post by python9 on Dec 3rd, 2008, 2:12pm can the mounting from my diff be fitted to the diff thats going in |
Title: Re: diff problem 24v Post by martin_rowe on Dec 3rd, 2008, 2:13pm You can just swap over the rear diff housing to convert between the two types, and correct should not have LSD. |
Title: Re: diff problem 24v Post by python9 on Dec 3rd, 2008, 2:22pm so the housing from a 199724v diff can be swapped onto the pre 96 diff |
