Title: Re: help with car alarm Post by scorpio_man on Dec 29th, 2008, 6:56pm hi there what is you're wanting to do? is it just to lock/unlock the doors? the easiest place for a feed is down in the passenger kick panel (yellow/blue wire). tbh, i'm not keen on adding anything 'extra' to the scorpio's alarm/immobiliser system. it's very easy to upset the car, you know! ;) ;D hth |

Title: Re: help with car alarm Post by pinto on Dec 29th, 2008, 8:20pm Dont forget that any alarm not fitted by a thatcham approved fitter carries no insurance status - any protection over the ford safeguard will be for your own peace of mind. Bear in mind that Safeguard already carries a Cat II thatcham approval level.... :) |

I agree with Andrew. Fitting extra alarms to these cars seems to cause nothing but problems. I suggest you think this through seriously before proceeding. ;) |
