Well put the new battery on 10quid's worth of fuel and vroom off it went anyway went down the road in it and whenever you take it out of park it bings like when the door is open also does it when your driving along which is very very annoying any idea's??

Hi. Check fuse 36, power saver. in the auxiliary fusebox. I had the same problem and it was a blown fuse 36 that had caused it. Bikerdon.

Also, the interior lights wouldn't come on yesterday and nor would the stereo check fuses again?
O and whenthe noise was happening it was a long continuous beep not like a beep every 2 secs or so when the door was open before.

As posted before most likely fuse 36.

It's not uncommon to blow fuse 36 when when changing the interior light.

Just fitted a new fuse for radio and int. lights this cured the problem thanks for your help though :)
