I HAVE PUT MY CAR UP FOR SALE AND I HAVE JUST LOCKED MY ONLY KEY IN THE BOOT..
IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN GET IT OUT WITHOUT SMASHING WINDOW..
I THINK I DEADLOCKED IT,AS I HAVE TRIED TO LEVER DOOR OPEN AND PULL HANDLE WITH WIRE COAT HANGER,BUT NO JOY..
AS ITS AN ESTATE CAR I CAN SEE THE KEY UNDERNEATH THE SECRUITY SLIDE..
I WILL TRY AND RING MY LOCAL DEALER TO SEE IF THEY CAN IVE ME THE KEY NUMBER,BUT WAS WONDERING,IF ANYONE HAD ANY OTHER IDEA,S....

FMD can cut you a new key for £10 that will open the door...you just need the registration document & proof of ID :)

u serious? i've never seen a dealership cutting keys cheaper that the local key-cutter/locksmith... 10£ sounds a bit too chip.

its just a plain key, it wont start the car, just open it but yes they do it that cheap ;)

Yep....£10 for an unchipped key cut from the key code from FMD ;).....£20 if you want it chipped, as long as you have the red key :)

have just rang the 2 main dealers in my area,and they have told me there is no way they can cut me a key,only if i have the number or the old key to copy it.Told them what about giving them the vin number and They said no,both of them did.And the main dealer who car was registered with havn,t got the key number either,as they only hav to keep them for 10 yrs...

HAVE JUST RANG SCRAP YARD UP AND THEY SAID GOT A SCORPIO IN WITH REAR WINDOWS INTACT.BUT THERES NO POWER TO LET THE WINDOWS DOWN,SO I DONT KNOW HOW BIG OF A JOB IT WILL BE TO TAKE THE OLD ONE OUT WITH NO POWER TO THE CAR .....
NOT DONE ONE BEFORE EITHER.....

YEAH BUT CALLED THEM BACK AND ONE OF THEM BROUGHT IT STRAIGHT AWAY,AND FOR THE ASKING PRICE.....
