in the last couple of days ive started to notice a very slight wobble in the steering wheel when braking gently , if im moving at a faster rate and put the brakes on ...nothing , but if im cruising to a stop and gently apply the brakes i can feel it in the steering wheel , any ideas???

Slightly warped disc or rough spot caused by overnight corrosion twixt disc and pad.See if a hard braking from 80mph will fix it.

Hi
I had a similar fault on my old mondeo (very faint at the steering wheel)
Mine turned out to be a track rod end with abit of play in it just remember if it is replace the pair and check the tracking after ;)
maybe worth a look.

Yes,it gets rid of the rough spot and the heat can true up the warp,it can actually work ;)

although it did nearly cause a pile up on the epping new road , should have checked my rear view mirror before slamming on the anchors ;D ;)
