Hi
I'm new on this site i was hoping to get some help for my Cosworth
15 days ago it started to behave very strange when i'm starting it
at first it took me about a minute and a half to start it
i must mention that when it starts i don't have any more problems with starting it same day, but when a leave it for the night i get the same problem in the morning and now i can't start it at all
the engine turns but it won't start
i also have a problem conecting my lap-top with computer
i downloaded the diagnostics program but can't conect

please any help is appreciated

did you check your battery and the alternator?

yes alternator works fine and i recharged battery yesterday and still nothing
as i said the engine turns but can't start and i can't smell any gasoline either no mather how long i'm starting it

Work your way through the fault finder for non starting.

You have downloaded the software from http://www.obd-2.com?
have you bought the OBD lead from there?

My 24V did this and it was the sender unit in the fuel pump. Nightmare before correct diagnosis!

my one would't start either it was the auxillary fuse box
ps check the fuel pump relay m8 in the battery side fuse box its green with purple on top as you look at the relays

I wish at problem is not this... check all fuses, relay... them look cabel...
