my radio plays well but the sound in the passenger side speaker goes away, and then when I hit a bump it comes back on as though I have full stereo, I think that there is a loose wire at the dash, how easy is it to get the radio out and what should I look for.

Norman. Have a look at THIS (http://www.radio-release-keys.com/?gclid=COTLntjxhpwCFZ4A4wodMSBR_g) site which shows you the various types. The 'hoop' shaped ones in the top centre of the picture are probably the ones you require but there is a search facility on the page. They are freely available and you need to 'shop around'. Have you tried checking the connector to the door as all the wiring passes through that?. Probably wriggling the gaiter with the radio on would quickly eliminate or identify that as the cause. :)
