Few days ago some stupid thief stole all my key for home, garage and my Scorpio ('94 2.9 24V BOB).

Now my car stuck in front of my house, and I can't start it because of PATS.

I bridged 3 and 14 pin on the chip in PATS module but it doesn't work as it was showed in Escort manualt for removing PATS from EEC-IV ECU.

Could anybody help me with removing PATS module from my Scorpio ?

I know there is manual todeal with this problem - does anyone have copy of this ?

the scorpio runs the eec -v a much more complicated system to bypass as its built into the ecu and many other systems

Matt all cossie engines are on eec iv. eec v is used in other engines that's true but not cosworth.

toyman, try the polish website www.ford-scorpio.eu and ask for a guy named Struna.

Sorry but that's just wrong. I think the only Scorps to run EEC IV were the 2.0 8v and the 2.9 12v.
