Title: Re: fuel shut off Post by gozz on Aug 26th, 2009, 11:13pm adam. The switch works by inertia, therefore if you are not bumping into anything or hammering near to it I would think it might be faulty. GOZZ. |

Title: Re: fuel shut off Post by Simmo on Aug 27th, 2009, 7:25am Also check the wiring loom by the offside boot hinge. If the hinge comes into contact with the loom the wires can get damaged. You MAY have to undo some of the outer wrapping to actually see any damage. ;) |

Title: Re: fuel shut off Post by Waglet on Aug 27th, 2009, 10:30am Not sure if the problem I had with “fuel” will help or not but here goes: - My car would for no apparent reason fail to start. It always `pointed to the fuel pump area`. Long story short it was the connector on top of the fuel pump (sender?). One of the 4 terminals was burnt out sometimes it would make contact and sometimes not which in turn caused the car not to start. Very frustrating. Hope this helps. |
