Hi All,
my car has failed the MOT on O/S/F suspension arm rear bush. does anyone know if this is a replaceable bush or do you have to replace the whole lower arm?
Also made a few enquiries to local factor and it seems the lower arm is no longer available.... anyone know where i can get one?

Heres the rear bush, you wont get them cheaper anywhere else

Terry.
Factors never did pattern part wishbones or bushes as far as I know,I got some recently from Henry (FMD) ,the small front bush comes in the arm,about £100 if your balljoint is shot.

Terry.
One of the easier jobs on the Scorp ;) but don't tighten the big nut up until the car has resumed it's normal ride height or the centre will be ripped out of the bush.

Hi Terry, I have just replaced mine today. I got mine from Fords for 36.00 for two including vat. With advice from the forum, and it was my first time, it was a simple enough job. After undoing the four carrier 10mm bolts, lever down the radius arm and then you can get a socket on the end of the bush. Make sure that when you put the new one back on, that you have the slot on the bush at the top( twelve o'clock).

They are available from ford rear bush £15 + vat front bush £5 + vat
