:( i've been in the same situation in the past many a time. i called the RAC/Green Flag and they can open the door for you by using their door open kit. if you're not a member then now might be the best time to join. just join the minimum level of cover online for £28 at RAC.co.uk. that gives you roadside assistance anywhere in the uk but the car must be broken down at least 1/4 mile from your house. If your car is broken outside your house then you have 3 choices.
1. Either pay an extra £49.63 for the At Home service which adds up to a total of £77.63 for the year or
2. Become creative!! Ask someone in your family/friend to register with the RAC online, for £28, obviously not living in the same house as you!! and living at least 1/4 mile from your car. Get them to register your car to their new RAC membership ( NOT their own car! you can only register one car). once processed, which isn't long online, get that new member to put in a breakdown call for your car giving the reason flat battery. The RAC will be around in an hour or 2 depending how busy they are. at the same time invite this new member around for a cuppa and put your feet up, the member needs to be there with the car when the RAC patrol arrives.
3.find a local car thief!!!! (not recommended!!)

I take it the keys won't open the boot/tailgate either?

If they will open the back of the car I'm sure it'd be possible to get to the interior if you're flexible enough to get in and release the seats.

Might be worth rebuilding the locks ;)

Snoopy knows a way to get in without causing damage. (former car thief I believe);)

p.s. I use Autoaid, £37 a year INCLUDING home start ;)
