Can somebody tell me why some Scorpio Cosworth have 4 bolt rims and some 5 bolt ?? mystery to me....

Granada Scorpio had 5 studs,Scorpio 95 on has 4.

But i can see several 1996 models. two just now, one 2,0 and one 2,3 diesel with 5 bolt. ,, was it 4 bolts only for Cosworth or what ?? i have an 1996 Cosworth with 4 bolt wheels... pretty confusing , hmmm

Ron,

the Scorpio 95 was only made with 4 stud hubs. If there are any with 5 studs, they have been modified since their manufacture.

And 96 and up with both 4 and 5 studs or ?

Hello Ron. 1995 to 1998 Scorpio's have 4 stud. Before 1995 The Mk 3 Granada's had 5 stud . Hope this helps

ok .. Thank you guys, it might be only wheelcovers i've seen on this 1996 models, (5 studs lookalike) :-) But still it seems strange for me that they go down from 5 to 4 on a car with lot more power, usually its opposite...

The Granada and Scorpio Cosworth had virtually the same power
