Title: Removing lock in rear hatch Post by vmkrister on Feb 24th, 2010, 12:50pm I´ve got a car but no keys and have to take out a cylinder to have keys cut. :-[ Removing the one in the rear hatch seems to be the easiest way, especially since I´ve managed to open the hatch! :) Does anyone have a detailed description showing/telling how to do that without destroying anything or at least as little as possible? The car is a station wagon. Krister |

Title: Re: Removing lock in rear hatch Post by vmkrister on Feb 24th, 2010, 5:07pm Great - I´ll go ahead and try. The car is outdoor - and we have temperatures like 15 Centigrade negative and 50 - 60 cm deep snow! I am spoilt from the Land Rover world, where I have spare part catalogues and work shop manuals that are very detailed. In the spare part list you can see exactly how things are built... :) Does information like that exist for the Scorpio? Krister |
