???hi first timer,i have a cossie ultima 2.9 with a recently developed fault,when the car is driven from cold it will drive for about 2 miles when the engine reaches running temp it will cut out.then if i wait for about 3mins it will start and run for another 100 yards then cut out.changed alternator and battery ok can u help.

hi there

sounds like something could be overheating.

we had a car that required the multi plug to the fuel pump replacing because of something similar.

hi all,have now discovered the problem,its two-fold,crank position sensor/and/or engine loom wiring with break in wire near to sensor so off to crawl about under the car. cheers treey
