Title: Electrical Problems
Post by hilly99 on Apr 5th, 2010, 10:12am
I have a 95 2.9 Scorpio it is a Colman Milne conversion, for no apparent reason (clearly there is) the LH indicators are blowing the fuse, disconnected all of the bulbs and it still blows the fuse, RH side ok and Hazards do not work.
On top of this when we took another fuse out of the main fuse box the interior blowers started.
Any help welcome

If you have climate control a poor connection behind the panel can cause the blower to come on full (with the ignition on), so it is possible removing the relevant fuse could have this effect.

hi there

re the indicators.

i'd have a guess at the stalk. i take it that if you flash the right hand side, it's all ok?

Hi Tampion.

On occassions when turning on full lock, the blower motor on my 97 2.3 comes on full blast.  Could this be the connection problem you spoke of and how easy is it to fix this fault?

Many thanks.
