I have a 1996 Scorpio Ultima Estate16v auto; 2.3 ltr

It does not get used much.

Yesterday the battery was flat and on being charged and re-connected the hooter started blaring.

Any ideas please.

Usually if you lock and unlock the door it goes off,it thinks it's being pinched !
