Title: Diff? clunking Post by Tekno on Apr 28th, 2010, 9:38pm Hello When I press accelerator pedal, I hear a clunk from somewhere rear. It comes also when I lift foot from pedal. What that could be? Differential bushes? I changed differential and driveshafts 4 months ago but backplate is still same as before. |

Title: Re: Diff? clunking Post by Thunderchild on Apr 29th, 2010, 4:34pm I would think that it is more likely to be the prop shaft universal joint. Easy check if you go under the car and move the prop, movement in the universal joint will be obvious. HTH Tc |

If you mean BIG gear, it were fine when I checked em on december. I couldn't find any suspicious wear.. Diff was opened because I changed backplate and axles which is held by circlips inside diff. |
