What is the recommended service interval for a 2.3 Ultima.

Any views would be appreciated.

Good question ~

Am looking at my service booklet (still got one!)...

'Interim' service seems to be every 10,000m

10,000m
Lights, wheel nuts, bonnet lock/safety catch
Check/top-up: battery electrolyte, power steering fluid, washer reservoirs (?!!),  coolant + check antifreeze concentration.
I would add gearbox & diff levels (?)

Check auxilary drive belt ('fanbelt') and tensioner

Inlet manifold: torque bolts to spec (V6 except 24V)

Change engine oil and filter
Check brake pads for wear (+ discs probably)
Wheels and tyres for wear / condition and pressures (?!!)

Auto transmission: check / top-up fluid

Cosworth: check tightness of turbocharger (?), alternator and steering pump mounts

Plus we would add 'clean MAF' wouldn't we? ;D

20,000m
Renew spark plugs
Renew pollen filters
I would also add air filter (?)

3 years ~ replace brake fluid
4 years ~ clean and check coolant pressure cap, replace if seal deteriorated

<=60,000m: if diesel and excessive exhaust smoke check fuel injectors against spec, renew if necessary.

[(?!!) = more often than that surely]
