Title: starting problems Post by bartaltena on Aug 1st, 2010, 9:17pm Hello, My scorpio 2.9 won't start. I read a lot about a fuel switch in the boot. Can somebody tell me (in simple words, i'm from holland) where i can find that switch. Or does somebody have a picture? Many thanks |

Title: Re: starting problems Post by Mike H on Aug 2nd, 2010, 4:50pm If you listen carefully you should hear the fuel pump start up when you turn it on. Hear it better with the door open maybe. If so it's not that. The red cut-out switch should only pop out if you have a big impact, e.g. a shunt up the rear from a vehicle following behind ;D |

Hi, when you say it wont start, does the engine crank/try to fire? or do you hear nothing when you turn the key? |

I've twice had them cut out hitting speed bumps (admittedly going a bit too fast) :) |
