Hi had a new air con compressor fitted 4 years ago am told today that either the compressor or the clutch are naff as it wont draw a vaccum the system is now empty is it easy to change either or both and will all Scorpio ones fit a 1997 2.3 ghia x

having spent a couple of days pulling a 24v V6 apart , I can't believe how awkward everything is to get at in the engine bay ! Hopefully You will have more room with the 2.3 engine.

Yes Geoff,they are considerably easier,the 24v is indeed tricky to say the least !!

got another compressor will fit over the weekend and gas next week thanks to Lee and Keith

Just been regassed and working fine easy job to do when de gassed
