still got battery drain , (from full to flat in approx 5-6 hours )tryed using meter and pull all the relays , no change . but heres what i have found .
removed all the fuses from main box and put them back in one at a time , tested it , checked reading on meter then removed . so that there was only ONE fuse in at any time .the following fuses sent the meter off the scale
No 6 elec adjustable seat
No 17 electronics
No 22 door locking modules
No 25 power window
No 26 power window front

i can see there all internal items but is there a common connection , relay , etc that i should look at , i've been chasing this fault for days and still got it .
i have till thursday a.m then i ment to go on holiday

help

It might be worth checking at the back of the ashtray, have a look at these threads:

you may have a damp/corroded fusebox shorting these together and causing the drain

Landlord,

a common cause that comes to mind in this case looks like a rotten door electronics module and/or its wiring. There is one in each front door, "talking" to each other for all kinds of situations and functions that you mentioned.

FORD introduced them to go with this multiplex wiring sebding data back and fro, very thin, to reduce cabling, looms and weight.

After 12+ years of service these thin, low-voltage signals carrying wiring is becoming vulnerable.

Now these doors are internally rather wet/moist because of seepage through the window sills.

Also when removing the doorcovers you may even find loose wiring caught by the windowraisers.

The doors also contain a separate relay, K50; all worth an inspection.

Try removing the Power Saver Relay. Relay 16 in the parrsenger side fusebox. Are you sure that there isn't damp under that box?. Have you got a battery cover fitted and are the drain holes clear in the bulkhead in fron of the battery. :)

Is it worth checking whether you have any of these "moment" switches stuck to a permanent position?

Are all "power"functions - apart from the battery drain - operational?

Windows, locking motors, global closing, power mirrors etc.?

pulled the dash/removed radio , felt behind ashtray , no frayed wires or loose connections that i can find ! replaced both fuse box in past few days !
any aother idea welcome , please

So both fuseboxes have been replaced and the fault is still there?

Did this drain just start all of a sudden?
any other strange happenings?
have you tested to make sure its not the battery/alternator?
Is everything else working as Cosray suggested?

thanks to cosray , i hope .
read your post , went and checked and found passenger seat control had been knocked , part on , part off .
fixed seat control switch and put all fuses back in , so far so good .
got battery on charge at moment , will find out in morning if its still holding charge , hopfully we have got this one sorted !!
